Pearl was born on July 20, 1919, in Johnston City, Illinois, the daughter of Alfred and Hjordis Andresen, both Norwegian immigrants.

Pearl grew up in Johnston City, working in her parents’ restaurant/confectionary, Andresen’s Café, during her youth. She married J. Lorenzo “Larry” Zanotti on June 7, 1942. Pearl and Larry shared 49 years of marriage until his death in 1991. Pearl helped Larry run their family business, Superior Bakery, for over 30 years. They both loved to travel, particularly together on golf trips.

Pearl is survived by her three children, Darlynn Zanotti, Judith Zanotti, and John Lyndell Zanotti (wife Patti), all of Johnston City; two grandchildren, Brityn Zanotti and Brandon Zanotti (wife Katie), both of Johnston City; a great-granddaughter, Eleanor Zanotti; a great-granddaughter due in January 2018; and two nephews, Jack Lecerf (wife Marianne) of Copley, Ohio, and Marco Andresen (wife Mary Beth) of Herrin.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Larry; her parents; siblings, June Lecerf of Johnston City and Alfred Andresen, Jr. of Herrin; and nephew Gene Lecerf of Johnston City.

Pearl was an active and fun-loving woman who was an avid golfer and bowler through her early 90s. Until her death, she still played in a weekly domino game at Stardust Golf Club with her beloved group of friends.
