Condolence From: Gayle and Jerry Kee
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jim was a great mayor, and a great friend to all. Jim always had a smile upon his face and he truly cared about Johnston City, Illinois, and the USA. If Jim said it, you knew he meant it. He will certainly be missed by all who knew him. God be with you all. Gayle and Jerry Kee

Condolence From: Barb & Tony Vatovec
Condolence: Jeannie and Family,

Tony and I want to tell you how sad we are that Jim has passed. While we know he has been ill for a long time, he never gave up. You can take comfort in the memories of his humor, his zeal toward making JC the best place it can be, his Godliness, his kindness, and his strength and most of all his love for all of you. He made the world a better place and gave his all. His leadership will be missed, his big smile will be missed and he will be missed.

Condolence From: Mayor Dennis Mitchell
Condolence: Goodbye dear friend.

I learned family history and political wisdom (Republican) as well as shared experiences of governing a small town. Being a few years my senior, I gleaned much about our family that few could still recall. I did have a few more questions though. As we believe in God, we will see each other again. God be with you!
